Payment Terms (Sweden)

These Payment Terms govern Budna’s payment service: how buyer funds are captured and safeguarded by the Payment Partner, the payout of funds to sellers once the agreed payout conditions are met, refunds, Buyer Protection, Seller Protection, fees, and the recovery of amounts owed. They form part of the User Agreement. Where these Swedish Payment Terms conflict with any translated or international version, these Swedish terms govern. By making or receiving a payment on Budna, you accept these Payment Terms.

1. How payments work

1.1 Budna is a marketplace operated by Budna Marketplace AB, established in Sweden. Purchase agreements are made directly between buyer and seller. Neither Budna nor the Payment Partner is a party to the purchase agreement, and neither is involved in or liable for the goods, services, content, or delivery that the seller provides to the buyer.
1.2 Payments are processed by Ping Payments AB, reg. no. 559123-5378 (the "Payment Partner"), a Swedish payment service provider authorised by and under the supervision of Finansinspektionen (the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority) under the Swedish Payment Services Act (lag (2010:751) om betaltjänster). Buyer funds are captured and held by the Payment Partner as client funds in segregated, safeguarded accounts under the applicable safeguarding rules until the payout conditions in section 2.5 are satisfied. The Payment Partner has sole and independent control over client funds and independently determines whether and when a payment or payout can be executed. Budna provides the Payment Partner with transaction and settlement information (such as order status, delivery confirmation, inspection outcome, and dispute status) in accordance with a settlement logic agreed in advance between Budna and the Payment Partner; Budna does not hold buyer or seller funds on its own account, has no right to dispose of client funds, does not hold a PSP licence, and is not an authorised payment institution.
1.3 "Budna’s payment solution" means the entire flow from the moment a buyer pays through one of the checkout methods until payout to the seller has been completed.
1.4 The Payment Partner’s terms govern the payment processing, fund-holding, and payout, and apply in parallel with these Payment Terms. As a seller, you must expressly accept the Payment Partner’s customer agreement in Budna before you can receive payments; Budna and the Payment Partner record who accepted it, when, and which version was accepted. As a buyer, you are shown the Payment Partner’s applicable terms at checkout and accept them before you pay. The payment service is provided under the Payment Partner’s general terms as specifically adapted for Budna’s marketplace flow in the agreement between Budna and the Payment Partner; mandatory rules of card schemes, acquirers, banks, and other payment networks apply to the relevant payment methods and cannot be contracted away.
1.5 The Payment Partner provides the payment service on its own terms and may, at its own discretion and outside Budna’s control, decline, limit, suspend, or close access to the payment service, for example for risk, compliance, anti-money-laundering, or verification reasons. The Payment Partner may also stop, delay, or refuse an individual payment or payout where it considers this necessary to comply with anti-money-laundering or counter-terrorist-financing rules, sanctions, fraud prevention, an order from a court or authority, or other regulatory obligations. Budna is not responsible or liable for the Payment Partner’s decisions, acts, or omissions, and cannot override or reverse them. Where an issue arises, Budna can act only as a facilitator and will, where reasonable, help you find a solution.
1.6 The seller’s mandate to Budna. As a seller, you instruct Budna to provide the Payment Partner, on your behalf, with the information and instructions required under these Payment Terms concerning (a) how the buyer’s payment is allocated between you and Budna, (b) deductions of Budna’s fees and other amounts under section 4.5 and section 6, (c) when a payout may be made under section 2, (d) refunds under section 7, and (e) reserves and holds under section 8. The Payment Partner independently assesses each instruction and may reject it (section 1.5). The mandate applies for as long as you sell on Budna and thereafter for sales not yet completed at that time.

2. The transaction flow

2.1 Pay-in

The buyer pays the item price, any Buyer Protection fee (section 4), and any shipping through Budna’s payment solution, before the payment deadline that applies to the order (section 2.6). Payment is therefore not always made at the moment a purchase becomes binding: an auction win is paid after the auction ends, an accepted offer after the seller accepts it, a binding Buy Now purchase after the buyer confirms it, and a Buy Now reservation during the reservation period (section 2.6). When the buyer pays, the payment is captured and the funds are held by the Payment Partner; nothing is paid out to the seller at this point. This capture-and-hold marketplace flow is specifically agreed between Budna and the Payment Partner and operates within the rules of the relevant payment method.

2.2 Shipping

The seller ships the item using an approved tracked carrier (see Seller Protection and How to Sell).

2.3 Inspection window

After the buyer receives an item that has been sent – as a parcel through Budna or with shipping the seller arranges – the buyer has 48 hours to inspect it and either: press “Everything is OK” to accept the item, which initiates the payout process to the seller; or press “I have an issue” to open a dispute (see Buyer Protection).
For pickup, the inspection window is open until the buyer, at the handover, has scanned the seller’s code and approved the item. The approval is the inspection: there is no 48-hour inspection window after the handover, and the payment is released for payout to the seller at the moment the buyer approves the item (see Shipping and pickup, section 5.5). The buyer should therefore inspect the item before approving it.

2.4 Auto-release

If the buyer takes no action within the 48-hour window for an item that has been sent, the item is treated as accepted and the payout process to the seller is initiated automatically. Auto-release does not apply to pickup, where the payment is released when the buyer approves the item at the handover (section 2.3). The buyer’s right to raise a later claim under Buyer Protection (within 14 days of payment) is unaffected, but such a claim runs against Budna’s Buyer Protection process rather than as an automatic reversal of payout.

2.5 Payout

Once the item is accepted (actively or by auto-release), Budna makes the corresponding settlement information available to the Payment Partner in accordance with the settlement logic agreed between Budna and the Payment Partner. The Payment Partner then independently verifies that the payout can be executed and pays out to the seller, less Budna’s fees and other amounts under section 4.5. The Payment Partner may stop or delay a payment or payout where required by anti-money-laundering rules, sanctions, fraud-prevention measures, an order from a court or authority, or its other regulatory obligations. Payouts to sellers are normally made daily once the payment has been released. Payout works the same way and at the same time for a purchase from a business seller as for a purchase from a private seller (see Shipping and pickup, section 8). A consumer’s right of withdrawal when buying from a business seller does not postpone the payout; where the buyer exercises the right of withdrawal after the payment has been released, section 7.1 applies. A released payment does not mean the amount is already visible in the seller’s bank account; how long that takes depends on banks and payment systems, and Budna does not promise a shorter time than the payment flow allows.

2.6 Payment deadlines

The buyer must pay before the payment deadline that applies to the order: (a) for an auction win, within 3 days (72 hours) after the auction ends or, if the order is created later, after the order is created, which is a final deadline: the order closes at that moment and can no longer be paid (section 2.7); (b) for an accepted offer, within 3 days (72 hours) after the seller accepts the offer, after which the buyer can still pay for a limited time under section 2.7; (c) for a binding Buy Now purchase, within 3 days (72 hours) after the buyer confirms the purchase, which is a final deadline: the order closes at that moment and can no longer be paid (section 2.7); (d) for a Buy Now reservation, within the short reservation period during which the item is reserved for the buyer so that the payment can be completed; and (e) for a combined-shipping request, within 72 hours after the request is made, but no later than the latest time by which an auction win, accepted offer or binding Buy Now purchase included in the request can be paid under section 2.7.
A Buy Now purchase is made in one of two ways, depending on the purchase flow used. In a binding Buy Now purchase, the buyer chooses the delivery method, sees the total amount and confirms the purchase before paying; the confirmation is binding and creates the order. In a Buy Now reservation, the order is created only when the buyer starts the payment, whether the buyer pays directly or through the checkout with delivery options, and the item is then reserved for the buyer for the short reservation period in (d). A combined-shipping request that the buyer makes from the checkout before any order exists follows the rules for Buy Now reservations.
The time from which a deadline runs (the end of the auction, the acceptance of the offer, the buyer’s confirmation of a binding Buy Now purchase, the start of the reservation, or the combined-shipping request) is the time recorded by Budna’s systems. For an auction win, an accepted offer or a binding Buy Now purchase, the payment deadline is shown on the order, and Budna also sends the buyer reminders before the payment deadline and, for an accepted offer, before the order closes automatically under section 2.7. The deadlines apply even if a reminder does not reach the buyer.
An auction win, accepted offer or binding Buy Now purchase that is included in a combined-shipping request keeps its own deadlines under section 2.7 and remains subject to the non-payment fee and the buyer cancellation fee under sections 4.6 and 4.7. Including the order in a combined-shipping request neither extends those deadlines nor waives those fees; the only exception is the one in section 2.7 for an order that closes while the seller has not yet answered the request.
Section 2.7 applies when an auction win, accepted offer or binding Buy Now purchase is not paid by its payment deadline. If a Buy Now reservation or a combined-shipping request is not paid in time, the reservation lapses, the order is cancelled, and the item is released for sale again where it is still available. No fee is charged for a lapsed reservation; section 2.8 describes when repeated abandoned reservations lead to a warning.

2.7 Unpaid auction wins, accepted offers and binding Buy Now purchases

This section applies to orders created from an auction win, an accepted offer or a binding Buy Now purchase (section 2.6). The day counts below run from the same starting time as the payment deadline in section 2.6.
If the seller cancels the order before the payment deadline, no fee is charged to the buyer, but the seller owes Budna a seller cancellation fee under section 4.10.
For an auction win or a binding Buy Now purchase, the payment deadline is final. There is no further period in which to pay: if the order has not been paid by the payment deadline, it closes automatically at that moment and can no longer be paid. The seller may also close it from that moment, in the short interval before it closes automatically.
For an accepted offer, the seller may close the order from the payment deadline. The buyer can still pay after the payment deadline until the seller closes the order, but no later than 6 days (144 hours) after the starting time. At that point the order closes automatically.
When the order closes, whether the seller closes it or it closes automatically, the purchase does not go ahead, the order can no longer be paid, and the buyer owes Budna a non-payment fee under section 4.6. If the buyer pays before the order closes, the purchase is completed as normal and no fee is charged. After the order has closed, the seller may relist the item or, for an auction win, offer it to the next bidders under section 2.9, and may, if a fee has arisen for the order and has not been waived, leave a review of the buyer, as described in Budna rules.
When an order from a binding Buy Now purchase closes unpaid, including when the buyer cancels it, the item is released for sale again automatically, with the quantity the order covered restored, where the listing is still available; the seller does not need to relist it. This does not apply to a listing that is an auction with a Buy Now price: a binding Buy Now purchase on such a listing ends the auction as soon as the buyer confirms the purchase, the auction is not resumed if the order closes unpaid, and the seller may relist the item instead.
The seller cannot close the order, and it does not close automatically, while a payment of the order is being processed, while a dispute about the order is open, or while Budna’s payment service is unavailable. Nor can the seller close the order while the seller is unable to receive payments or while a combined-shipping request that includes the order is awaiting the seller’s answer. No non-payment fee is charged when the order closes (a) because the listing has been withdrawn; (b) automatically, after the buyer tried to pay and the payment could not be started because of a fault or restriction in Budna’s systems or the Payment Partner’s service, because a payment or delivery option was unavailable, or because the seller could not receive the payment; or (c) while the order is part of a combined-shipping request that the seller has not yet answered.
If the buyer cancels an unpaid order covered by this section, the order closes and section 4.7 applies instead of section 4.6.

2.8 Abandoned reservations

A reservation is abandoned when a Buy Now reservation (including a purchase through the checkout with delivery options and a purchase that is part of a combined-shipping request) is not paid within its payment window under section 2.6, or when the buyer cancels the purchase before paying. No fee is charged for abandoning or cancelling a reservation. A binding Buy Now purchase is not a reservation: if it is not paid, section 2.7 applies to it, and it is not counted under this section.
Only abandonments caused by the buyer are counted. An abandonment is not counted if it was caused by the payment system, the Payment Partner, or Budna (for example a payment error, a technical fault, a payment that required reconciliation, or payments being unavailable), or by the seller or the listing (for example the seller cancelling the order, declining or not answering a combined-shipping request, or being unable to receive payments, the seller’s account being closed, or the listing being withdrawn). An abandonment whose cause cannot be established is not counted. A combined-shipping request counts as one abandonment, however many orders it includes.
If a buyer has 3 counted abandonments within a rolling period of 60 days, Budna sends the buyer a warning and Budna staff are notified so that they can review the account. The warning itself carries no fee and does not restrict the account.
If the review shows that the buyer has clearly abused reservations, Budna may impose a non-payment fee under section 4.6.

2.9 Second-chance offers to the next bidders

After an order from an auction win has closed unpaid under section 2.7 — because the seller closed it, because it closed automatically, or because the buyer cancelled it — the seller may, instead of relisting the item, offer it to the bidders who came next in that bidding round. At most 3 bidders are offered the item, one at a time, in order of their bids. Each of them has an exclusive window of 24 hours in which to accept or decline. Declining, or not answering before the window ends, passes the offer to the next bidder; when the last window closes, the offer lapses. Recipients are notified in the app, by push notification and by email.
The seller sets one price for the whole offer. It must be above zero and cannot be higher than the item price of the unpaid order, so it is never higher than the winning price. It may be higher than the recipient’s own bid, and the recipient is free to decline. Second-chance offers are made in SEK only.
Accepting is binding. Acceptance creates a new order at the offered price, which must be paid within 3 days (72 hours) of the acceptance on the same terms as an auction win under sections 2.6 and 2.7, including the non-payment fee under section 4.6 if the order closes unpaid and the buyer cancellation fee under section 4.7 if the buyer cancels it. If that order also closes unpaid, the seller may offer the item in the same way to the remaining lower bidders.
A buyer who owes an outstanding fee cannot accept a second-chance offer until the fee is paid or waived, in the same way as bidding and making offers are blocked (section 6.6). Bidders who are excluded from the auction itself are never offered the item: the seller, the members of the seller’s company account, and users whom either party has blocked. Nor is a bidder who already had an order for the item, such as the buyer of the unpaid order or a bidder who accepted an earlier second-chance offer.
The seller may withdraw a second-chance offer that is still open; the recipient whose window is open at that time is notified. While a second-chance offer is open the item cannot be relisted, and an item that has been relisted or sold cannot be given a second-chance offer.

3. Payment methods

3.1 Payments are processed by the Payment Partner, a Swedish payment service provider authorised by and under the supervision of Finansinspektionen. Budna does not hold a PSP licence and never holds, controls, or disposes of buyer or seller funds.
3.2 Available methods may include Swish, bank and giro payment, and Visa/Mastercard cards including supported digital wallets, depending on the transaction and the rules of the relevant payment method. Klarna and other payment methods are offered only where the Payment Partner has specifically approved them for the flow in question. Each payment method is subject to the rules of the relevant card schemes, acquirers, banks, and payment-method providers, and its availability for a given transaction type or flow is not guaranteed. Budna may add or remove methods.
3.3 Card payments require Strong Customer Authentication (3-D Secure). Transactions that fail authentication may be declined.
3.4 Buyers should be aware that different methods carry different consumer-dispute mechanisms: Swish payments are real-time, account-to-account, and irrevocable; they are not subject to card chargebacks. The same applies to bank and giro payments. Card payments, including through digital wallets, run on card rails and may be disputed through the buyer’s bank in addition to Budna’s Buyer Protection. Where Klarna is offered, Klarna payments are also subject to Klarna’s own buyer terms; for Klarna-funded orders, refunds, dispute handling, and final settlement follow Klarna’s timelines and may take longer than the timelines stated elsewhere in these Payment Terms. Klarna’s "buy now, pay later" credit products are not available to buyers under 18 years of age, consistent with Klarna’s own terms and with Konsumentkreditlagen (2010:1846); buyers under 18 must select a non-credit payment method.
3.5 Budna may steer or incentivise certain payment methods for higher-value transactions.
3.6 Receipts and order records made available to the buyer include the order summary, the seller’s identity (name and registration details), the delivery address, the transaction currency, the last four digits of any card used (where applicable), and the Payment Partner’s transaction reference.

4. Fees

4.1 Buyer Protection fee. Where Buyer Protection applies (section 4.2), the buyer pays a Buyer Protection fee of 5 SEK when the item price is 200 SEK or less. When the item price is above 200 SEK, the fee is 5 SEK plus 3% of the item price, capped at 499 SEK. The item price is the price of the item or items in the order, excluding shipping and fees, and the fee is calculated separately for each order, including each order in a combined-shipping request. The fee and the total amount are shown before the buyer places a binding bid, makes an offer, or confirms a purchase. The fee is collected as part of the payment and is settled to Budna through the Payment Partner.
4.2 Buyer Protection is mandatory for every purchase from a private seller, whatever the price. For a purchase from a business seller (Shop), Buyer Protection is optional: the buyer chooses before paying whether to add it, and the fee is charged only if the buyer does. This is because a consumer who buys from a business seller already has mandatory statutory rights against the seller (section 13).
4.3 On a refund, the Buyer Protection fee is retained, because the buyer has used the Buyer Protection service, and Budna does not guarantee that the fee will be refunded. This also applies once Budna has substantively reviewed a claim and issued a reasoned decision, regardless of outcome (except in case (c) below), on a return after a valid Buyer Protection claim (section 7.3), when the buyer exercises the right of withdrawal against a business seller after the item has been shipped or handed over (section 7.8), and on an agreed return (section 7.7). By paying the Buyer Protection fee, the buyer expressly requests and consents to the Buyer Protection service being performed during any applicable withdrawal period and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal for this service is lost once the service has been fully performed. The Buyer Protection fee is refunded in only three cases, and then together with all other funds the buyer has paid for the order: (a) when a buyer who is a consumer cancels a paid order from a business seller before the item has been shipped or handed over (section 7.6); (b) when the seller cancels a paid order before the item has been shipped or handed over (section 7.6a); and (c) when the buyer is refunded because the item was never shipped or handed over, for example when Budna cancels the order automatically because the seller has not shipped the item (section 7.6b) or when a non-delivery dispute is decided in the buyer’s favour and the item was never handed in to the carrier or handed over to the buyer.
4.4 Price list. The fees in this section 4 follow Budna’s price list, and the amounts stated here are those of the price list when these Payment Terms were published. The price list is information about Budna’s fees and does not itself form part of the agreement. The Buyer Protection fee terms shown when the buyer places a binding bid, makes an offer, or confirms a purchase apply to that transaction, with the fee calculated on the final item price, and a change to the price list does not affect bids, offers, and purchases already made. Seller fees (commission and optional listing upgrades) are set out in the price lists and deducted at payout. Changes to fees are announced at least 30 days in advance.
4.5 Budna’s fees for a sale are deducted from the purchase price of that sale before it is paid out to the seller. The Refund-Liable Amount (section 6) and other amounts a seller owes Budna may be deducted from the seller’s payouts only through the Payment Partner’s settlement process, on the basis of the seller’s mandate in section 1.6 and to the extent the seller’s agreement with the Payment Partner permits. Budna may also request that the Payment Partner withhold a payout pending the resolution of a dispute or investigation; the decision is the Payment Partner’s.

4.6 Non-payment fee

A non-payment fee is a fee the buyer owes Budna when an order from an auction win, an accepted offer or a binding Buy Now purchase closes unpaid under section 2.7, either because the seller closes it or because it closes automatically: at the payment deadline for an auction win or a binding Buy Now purchase, and 6 days after the starting time for an accepted offer. An order created by accepting a second-chance offer (section 2.9) is an auction-win order, and this fee applies to it in the same way. Each closed order gives rise to at most one fee. No non-payment fee is charged if the buyer pays before the order closes, or in the cases listed in section 2.7.
The non-payment fee is calculated with the same formula as the Buyer Protection fee (section 4.1) on the item price of the order, excluding shipping, but is never less than 25 SEK and never more than 499 SEK. For example, the fee is 25 SEK for an item price of 100 SEK, 35 SEK for 1 000 SEK, and 499 SEK for 20 000 SEK. For an auction win, an accepted offer or a binding Buy Now purchase, the amount is fixed when the order is created, which for a binding Buy Now purchase is when the buyer confirms the purchase. The fee is charged in SEK.
The non-payment fee is charged whether or not Buyer Protection was chosen or applied to the order. It is owed to Budna, and the seller receives no part of it. It is not a Buyer Protection fee and gives no protection.
Budna may also impose a non-payment fee, after a review by Budna staff, on a buyer who has clearly abused reservations (section 2.8), for example by repeatedly reserving items without paying so that other buyers cannot buy them. Such a fee relates to one of the buyer’s reservations that closed without payment and is calculated in the same way on that order’s item price, with the same minimum and maximum. Budna informs the buyer of the decision and the reasons for it, and the buyer can complain about the decision through Budna’s internal complaint-handling system (Budna rules).
How outstanding fees are paid, and how they affect the account, is set out in section 6.6.

4.7 Buyer cancellation fee

If the buyer cancels an unpaid order from an auction win, an accepted offer or a binding Buy Now purchase, the order closes and the buyer owes Budna a buyer cancellation fee of 50 SEK. No non-payment fee is charged for the same order.
At the buyer’s request, Budna may waive the buyer cancellation fee where the buyer had to cancel because of circumstances beyond the buyer’s control (force majeure).
Cancelling a Buy Now reservation before paying, including a purchase that is part of a combined-shipping request, is free of charge; such a cancellation is an abandoned reservation under section 2.8. This does not apply to a binding Buy Now purchase, including one that is part of a combined-shipping request.
Section 6.6 applies to an outstanding buyer cancellation fee.

4.8 Service fee

Where the item price is above 20 000 SEK, the buyer pays a Service fee of 2% of the part of the item price above 20 000 SEK. The fee applies to every purchase on Budna: auction wins, accepted offers, Buy Now and in-store purchases. The item price has the same meaning as in section 4.1, and the fee is worked out separately for each order. For example, the fee is 200 SEK for an item costing 30 000 SEK and 1 600 SEK for 100 000 SEK.
The Service fee is the same whichever payment method the buyer uses and is not a charge for using any payment instrument. The rule is set out in the price list; the amount is fixed when the order is created and is shown on the order and in the total before the buyer pays, and a later change to the price list does not affect an order already created (section 4.4). The fee is collected as part of the payment and settled to Budna through the Payment Partner.
Where a purchase is reversed, or the buyer exercises the right of withdrawal against a business seller, the Service fee is refunded together with the purchase price. This also applies where a buyer who is a consumer or the seller cancels a paid order before the item has been shipped or handed over (sections 7.6 and 7.6a), where Budna cancels the order automatically because the item has not been shipped (section 7.6b), on a return after a valid Buyer Protection claim, including a purchase from a private seller (section 7.3), and on an agreed return of a purchase from a business seller (section 7.7). On an agreed return of a purchase from a private seller, the Service fee is not refunded (section 7.7).

4.9 Partial payment

Where an order's total is at least 5 000 SEK, the buyer may choose to pay part of it at once (a partial payment) and the rest later. A partial payment is an actual payment to the Payment Partner of part of the purchase price and the fees; it is neither credit nor a hold on an amount. The partial payment is at least 10% of the item price and never less than Budna's fees on the purchase (the seller's sale fees, the Buyer Protection fee and the Service fee). The buyer may always choose to pay the full amount instead.
The rest must be paid within the order's payment period: for an auction win and an accepted offer, the same period as for an unpaid order (section 2.7), and for a Buy Now purchase within 72 hours of the partial payment being confirmed. A Buy Now purchase becomes binding, and the item is held for the buyer, once the partial payment or the payment of the full amount is confirmed.
If the buyer does not pay the rest in time, or cancels the purchase after the partial payment, the order is closed. Budna then keeps Budna's fees on the purchase out of the partial payment; 25% of those fees is paid out to the seller as compensation for the lost sale, and the rest goes to Budna. The rest of the partial payment is refunded to the buyer. No non-payment fee (section 4.6) and no buyer cancellation fee (section 4.7) is charged for the same order.
If the order is closed for any other reason – for example because the seller cancels it, the listing is removed or Budna closes the order – the whole partial payment is refunded. Where the seller is a business, Budna keeps nothing of the partial payment and the buyer's right of withdrawal is not affected: the whole partial payment is refunded.

4.10 Seller cancellation fee

The seller owes Budna a seller cancellation fee when a binding purchase is not completed because the order is cancelled on the seller’s side, namely when (a) the seller cancels an unpaid order from an auction win, an accepted offer or a binding Buy Now purchase before the payment deadline (section 2.7); (b) the seller cancels a paid order before the item has been shipped or handed over (section 7.6a); or (c) Budna cancels the order automatically because the seller has not shipped the item (section 7.6b). Each cancelled order gives rise to at most one fee.
The seller cancellation fee is calculated in the same way as the non-payment fee (section 4.6): with the same formula as the Buyer Protection fee (section 4.1) on the item price of the order, excluding shipping, but never less than 25 SEK and never more than 499 SEK. For example, the fee is 25 SEK for an item price of 100 SEK, 35 SEK for 1 000 SEK, and 499 SEK for 20 000 SEK. The fee is charged in SEK.
The fee goes to Budna. It is owed to Budna, and the buyer receives no part of it; the buyer’s right to a refund under sections 7.6a and 7.6b is not affected by the fee. How the fee is paid, and how it affects the seller’s account, is set out in section 6.6.
No seller cancellation fee is charged when a buyer who is a consumer cancels a paid order from a business seller (section 7.6), when the buyer cancels an unpaid order (section 4.7), when an unpaid order closes after the payment deadline (section 2.7), or when Budna closes or cancels the order for reasons that are not the seller’s. Budna staff may waive the fee, for example where the seller had to cancel because of circumstances beyond the seller’s control (force majeure).

5. Seller Protection (“säljarskydd”)

5.1 A seller is protected and paid in full, even if the buyer raises a dispute, when all of the following are true:
5.2 Where Seller Protection applies, Budna does not recover the loss from the seller. Budna's residual obligation to compensate or indemnify any user under Seller Protection or Buyer Protection is capped at 10,000 SEK / 10,000 NOK / €1,000 per claim and at 10,000 SEK / 10,000 NOK / €1,000 in respect of any single seller in any rolling twelve (12) month period. These caps are without prejudice to (i) the buyer's mandatory statutory rights against a business seller, (ii) the buyer's rights against the card issuer or scheme under chargeback rules, and (iii) any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law. The caps apply only in the relationship between Budna and its users; they do not limit Budna's obligations toward the Payment Partner for actual payment-related costs (such as chargebacks, refunds, fraud losses, and scheme fees), which are allocated in the separate agreement between Budna and the Payment Partner.
5.3 Where Seller Protection does not apply because the seller failed one or more of the conditions in 5.1, the Refund-Liable Amount (section 6) may be recovered from the seller.
5.4 Seller Protection covers the genuine “buyer is acting in bad faith” case. It does not protect a seller who misdescribed the item, shipped late or to the wrong address, shipped without tracking, or packed the item inadequately.
5.5 Fraud-coded chargebacks. Seller Protection does not extend to chargebacks coded by the cardholder’s issuer as fraud or unauthorised use of a payment instrument. Such chargebacks are recoverable from the seller as part of the Refund-Liable Amount (section 6) irrespective of compliance with 5.1, except where the transaction completed 3-D Secure authentication with a confirmed liability shift to the issuer.
5.6 Transit damage. If an item sent as a parcel through Budna was damaged in transit although it was packed in accordance with Shipping and Pickup 1.6, Budna does not recover the amount from the seller. Budna then bears the cost towards the buyer, within the caps in 5.2, and pursues the matter with the carrier (see Shipping and Pickup, section 9). For shipping arranged by the seller, Seller Protection does not extend to transit damage: the Refund-Liable Amount may then be recovered from the seller even if the conditions in 5.1 are met, and the seller must seek compensation from the seller’s own carrier.
  • the item was shipped using an approved tracked carrier (e.g. PostNord, Posten Bring, DB Schenker, Instabox) with trackable proof of postage; plain stamps do not qualify for items of 200 SEK / 200 NOK / €20 or more;
  • the item was shipped to the buyer’s address as confirmed on Budna (not an address agreed off-platform);
  • the item was packed so that it could withstand normal handling in transit (see Shipping and Pickup, 1.6);
  • the listing accurately described the item, with the correct condition grade and at least the required photos;
  • the seller responded to any dispute within 72 hours; and
  • the seller is not under sanction for repeated similar disputes.

6. Refund-Liable Amount and recovery

6.1 The Refund-Liable Amount is the amount a seller must repay to Budna where a completed sale is reversed. It comprises: the refunded purchase price, return shipping costs, any card-scheme, acquirer, representment, or chargeback fees incurred by Budna or the Payment Partner, any fines, levies, monitoring-program assessments, or other amounts imposed on Budna or the Payment Partner by a card scheme, acquirer, or the Payment Partner in connection with the transaction, and Budna’s commission on the original transaction.
6.2 Budna may require a seller to repay, or may recover, the Refund-Liable Amount where: Budna’s dispute resolution decides a case in the buyer’s favour; the seller failed to meet the Seller Protection conditions in section 5; a payment is reversed by a bank or card scheme (chargeback) on a transaction the seller is responsible for; the transaction is reasonably suspected to involve money laundering, sanctions breaches, or other unlawful activity; the seller has an undisclosed economic interest in the buyer (self-dealing); or the seller is otherwise in breach of the User Agreement or these Payment Terms. Where funds are frozen, retained, or otherwise withheld by a regulator, the Payment Partner, or pursuant to anti-money-laundering, sanctions, fraud, or risk investigations, those funds remain frozen for the duration of the relevant measure; Budna has no obligation to release or refund frozen funds in advance of, or contrary to, a regulator or Payment Partner instruction, and no such obligation arises out of these Payment Terms. Budna’s right to recover the Refund-Liable Amount arises directly under these Payment Terms and applies even where Budna has already paid all or part of the amount to the buyer or to the Payment Partner on the seller’s behalf.
6.3 Recovery mechanics. Budna may, in order: request that the Refund-Liable Amount be deducted from funds otherwise payable to the seller (section 4.5); where current and upcoming payouts are insufficient, invoice the seller for the deficit; retain the returned item until the seller’s outstanding amount is settled; and transfer unpaid amounts to debt collection.
6.4 On termination of a seller’s account or suspected abuse, Budna may request that the Payment Partner withhold payouts to the seller until outstanding transactions are verified and all return/withdrawal/dispute periods have passed. The decision is the Payment Partner’s.
6.5 Budna’s relationship with the Payment Partner is governed by Budna’s separate agreement with the Payment Partner. Nothing in this section gives rise to any direct claim by a buyer or seller against Budna; any residual exposure Budna carries toward the Payment Partner for unrecovered chargebacks, refund amounts, fraud losses, scheme fees, or other deductions is managed through Budna’s own commercial arrangements with the Payment Partner, including the reserves and risk holds in section 8. The recovery mechanics in 6.3 apply between Budna and the seller.

6.6 Outstanding fees

Non-payment fees (section 4.6) and buyer cancellation fees (section 4.7) are owed to Budna and are paid by the buyer in the app through Budna’s payment solution. In the same way, seller cancellation fees (section 4.10) and the cost of a return label that Budna has provided on a Buyer Protection return and charged to the seller (section 7.3) are owed to Budna and are paid by the seller in the app through Budna’s payment solution. Outstanding fees are shown in the account. What this section says about fees applies to all of these debts, whether the account owes them as a buyer or as a seller.
While any such fee is outstanding, including while a payment of it is being processed, the account cannot buy with Buy Now or start a checkout, request combined shipping, place bids or automatic bids, make or raise offers or accept counter-offers, publish, relist, or restock listings or create listings as active, or buy boosts or search priority for listings. When the fee arises, the account’s automatic bids are stopped and the account’s pending offers are withdrawn; bids already placed remain binding. A seller cannot accept an offer from an account while a fee is outstanding on that account.
The account can still pay existing orders and combined-shipping requests, pay the fees, send messages, open and take part in disputes, confirm delivery, save listing drafts, keep existing live listings, and handle its own sales.
The restriction applies automatically when a fee arises and lifts automatically once no fee is outstanding because every fee has been paid or waived by Budna. Budna may waive a fee that has not been paid; a fee that has already been paid is not refunded under this section. Anyone who considers that a fee has been charged incorrectly can contact Budna Customer Support. If the account is deleted, fees still outstanding are written off; deleting the account does not require them to be paid first.

7. Refunds

7.1 The seller is personally liable for, and the legal obligor of, any refund owed to the buyer, whether the entitlement arises under a business seller’s statutory consumer-protection obligations, under these Payment Terms, under Buyer Protection, or by agreement with the seller. Budna does not undertake the refund as principal and is not the obligor of the underlying contractual refund. How the refund is made depends on when it takes place: (a) A refund is made through Budna only as long as the payment is held by the Payment Partner, that is before delivery, within the inspection window (section 2.3) before the item has been accepted, and while a dispute, a withdrawal request or an agreed return (section 7.7) begun before then postpones the payout. The refund is then routed, on the seller’s behalf, through the Payment Partner to the buyer’s original payment method, less the non-refundable Buyer Protection fee where applicable (section 4.3). (b) Once the item has been accepted, actively or by auto-release when the inspection window has expired (section 2.4), the payment is released for payout to the seller. After that, Budna does not route any refund on the seller’s behalf; instead, the seller repays the buyer directly. The buyer and the seller agree between themselves how the refund is to be settled, and the seller handles contact with the buyer about it, within the limits of the buyer’s mandatory rights (section 13). When a seller refunds a buyer, the seller cannot claim back from Budna the fees Budna charged on the sale, such as commission and service fees.
7.2 Refunds for cancelled or withdrawn orders are issued within 14 days of receipt of returned goods or of the withdrawal notice, to the original payment method, in accordance with CRD Art. 13, and Distansavtalslagen 2 kap. 12 §. The same deadline applies where the seller repays the buyer directly under section 7.1(b); how the refund is made is then decided by the buyer and the seller, within the limits of mandatory law. Buyer Protection refunds are issued within 14 days of the Buyer Protection decision. Once a refund has been initiated, the time until it reaches the buyer depends on the payment method, the card schemes, and the banks involved; Budna and the Payment Partner cannot unconditionally guarantee the date on which a refund is credited.
7.2a Funding of refunds and currency. A refund through Budna under section 7.1(a) is made from the funds the Payment Partner holds for the purchase. Once the payment has been released for payout to the seller, Budna does not fund or advance a refund that the seller owes the buyer; the seller then repays the buyer directly under section 7.1(b). Where the seller has already been paid and the seller’s available funds with the Payment Partner are insufficient for a claim that Budna has upheld under Buyer Protection, Budna ensures the refund is funded so that the Buyer Protection deadline can be met; Budna’s recourse under section 6 against the seller for the Refund-Liable Amount is unaffected. Where a refund is paid in a currency other than the capture currency, the refund amount in the buyer’s settlement currency is calculated at the Payment Partner’s rate on the date of refund, and any exchange-rate differential between capture and refund is borne by the buyer, except where the refund is required as part of a statutory consumer remedy in which case the buyer is refunded no less than the original amount in the buyer’s settlement currency.
7.3 The default resolution for a "not as described" or similar valid claim is return-to-refund: the buyer returns the item using a tracked method, and the refund is issued when the return arrives. The buyer can ask for a return when opening a dispute, and a return the buyer and the seller agree on in the dispute follows the agreed-return rules in sections 7.7–7.9. Where Budna decides that a Buyer Protection claim is valid – the item does not match the description or has been damaged, as Budna assesses it – and that the item must be returned (a Buyer Protection return), the following applies. (a) Where the item was sent as a parcel through Budna, Budna provides a return label at no cost to the buyer. The return goes with the same carrier and in the same parcel size as the parcel to the buyer, and the buyer must use that return label. (b) Where the item was not sent as a parcel through Budna, the buyer sends the return tracked in their own way and enters the tracking number in Budna, and the buyer is reimbursed for the documented cost of the return shipping through Buyer Protection. In both cases, the cost of the return shipping is charged to the seller as part of the Refund-Liable Amount (section 6); the amount is a debt to Budna covered by section 6.6 until it has been paid. When the return arrives, everything the buyer has paid for the order is refunded except the Buyer Protection fee (section 4.3): the item price, the shipping and the Service fee, whether the seller is a private individual or a business seller. Where the payment is still held by the Payment Partner, the refund is made through Budna at the time set out in section 7.8; where the payment has already been released, sections 7.1(b) and 7.2a apply. Budna may require the item to be returned before the buyer is refunded. Outside a Buyer Protection return – on an agreed return (section 7.7) and where a consumer exercises the right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59) – the buyer books and pays for the return shipping. The buyer can then book the return shipping in Budna where the item was sent as a parcel through Budna: the return goes with the same carrier and in the same parcel size as the parcel to the buyer, at the price-list price for such a parcel, and the buyer pays the price to Budna in advance by Swish or card. The buyer can also send the return in their own way with tracked shipping and enter the tracking number in Budna (see Shipping and pickup). Otherwise, Budna does not fund return shipping. This does not affect the buyer’s right under mandatory law to claim compensation for return costs from a business seller (section 13).
7.4 While the payment is held by the Payment Partner (section 7.1(a)), sellers must carry out refunds only through Budna’s payment solution and not through other payment methods. Once the payment has been released for payout, the seller repays the buyer directly under section 7.1(b).
7.5 Mandatory refund rules. Refunds processed through the Payment Partner are subject to the Payment Partner’s mandatory rules: (i) a refund may not exceed the amount of the original Transaction; (ii) the refund is routed to the same payment instrument used for the original purchase; (iii) where the original payment was made by card, a cash refund is not permitted; and (iv) no cash, credit, or other consideration may be offered or accepted in exchange for processing a refund. Budna does not, and may not, process a refund that breaches these rules.
7.6 Cancellation before hand-in. A buyer who is a consumer can cancel a paid order from a business seller in Budna as long as the item has not been shipped, that is before the carrier has registered the parcel or the seller has marked the order as shipped, or, for pickup, before the handover has been confirmed. The cancellation is handled as a withdrawal under the right of withdrawal, with nothing to return. All funds the buyer has paid for the order are refunded through Budna to the buyer’s original payment method: the item price, the shipping, the Buyer Protection fee (section 4.3) and the Service fee (section 4.8). A shipping label already created for the order is voided. Purchases made with a company account are not covered by this section.
7.6a Seller cancellation before hand-in. The seller can cancel a paid order only as long as the item has not been shipped, that is before the carrier has registered the parcel or the seller has marked the order as shipped, or, for pickup, before the handover has been confirmed. The buyer then gets back all funds the buyer has paid for the order through Budna to the buyer’s original payment method: the item price, the shipping, the Buyer Protection fee (section 4.3) and the Service fee (section 4.8). A shipping label already created for the order is voided, and the seller owes Budna a seller cancellation fee (section 4.10). Once the item has been shipped or handed over, the seller cannot cancel the order; a problem with the purchase is then resolved through an agreed return (section 7.7) or a dispute.
7.6b Automatic cancellation when the item is not shipped. The seller must ship the item no later than 5 days after the order has been paid (see Shipping and pickup, section 10.1). If the item has not been shipped 7 days after payment – for a parcel through Budna: the carrier has not registered the parcel; for shipping the seller arranges: the seller has not marked the order as shipped – Budna cancels the order automatically. This section does not apply to pickup or in-store purchases.
7.7 Agreed return. The buyer and the seller can agree that the item is to be returned, for example in messages on Budna or in a dispute (section 7.3), whether the seller is a private individual or a business seller. The seller is not obliged to accept a return the buyer is not entitled to under law or these terms. The return takes effect in Budna once the seller has approved it on the order. Where the payment is still held by the Payment Partner (section 7.1(a)), the payout to the seller is postponed until the return has been settled, and the refund is made through Budna under section 7.8. For a purchase from a private seller, the item price and the shipping are then refunded, but not the Buyer Protection fee and the Service fee. For a purchase from a business seller, everything the buyer has paid for the order is refunded except the Buyer Protection fee (section 4.3): the item price, the shipping and the Service fee. The return shipping is paid by the buyer under section 7.3, and the return must be sent within the deadline in section 7.9. Where the payment has already been released for payout, Budna handles only the return shipping, if it is booked in Budna, and the status of the order; the seller is then responsible for the refund and settles it with the buyer under section 7.1(b), and the seller can never claim any fees back from Budna. Either the buyer or the seller can call off the return before a return label has been booked in Budna or, where the return is sent in the buyer’s own way, before the parcel has been sent; a payout postponed because of the return then continues under section 2. Once a return label has been booked and paid in Budna, neither the return label nor the return can be cancelled by the buyer or the seller; the return then ends under sections 7.8 and 7.9.
7.8 Refund when a return arrives. For a return while the payment is held by the Payment Partner – after the buyer has exercised the right of withdrawal in Budna, after an agreed return (section 7.7) or on a Buyer Protection return (section 7.3) – the buyer must send the item tracked: with a return label booked or provided in Budna or in their own way with a tracking number the buyer enters in Budna. The refund is made through Budna to the payment method the buyer paid with once the seller has marked the item as received in Budna. Where the return was booked in Budna, the refund is made automatically 48 hours after the carrier has registered that the seller has collected the return parcel, unless the seller has opened a dispute before then. If the seller does not collect a return parcel booked in Budna within the carrier’s storage time at the pickup point – that is, the carrier reports the parcel as returned or undeliverable, or 14 days have passed since the parcel arrived at the pickup point – the return counts as received, and the refund is made anyway, in the same way as when the seller has marked the item as received. If the parcel then comes back to the buyer, the buyer must keep the item available to the seller for 30 days and, if the seller asks, send it to the seller at the seller’s expense. On a withdrawal from a purchase from a business seller, everything the buyer has paid for the order is refunded except the Buyer Protection fee (section 4.3): the item price, the shipping and the Service fee; on an agreed return, section 7.7 applies, and on a Buyer Protection return, section 7.3.
7.9 Return deadlines. An agreed return (section 7.7) and a Buyer Protection return (section 7.3) must be sent within 7 days of the seller approving the return or Budna making its decision, as the case may be. Where a return label has been booked, the buyer nevertheless always has at least 7 days from the booking to hand in the parcel. On a withdrawal, the statutory deadline applies: the item must be sent within 14 days of the buyer giving notice of the withdrawal. If the return is not sent in time, it lapses in Budna: a payout to the seller postponed because of the return continues under section 2, and a paid return label is not refunded. On a withdrawal from a purchase from a business seller, this does not affect the buyer’s statutory rights; the seller then handles the refund directly with the buyer under section 7.1(b). If the dispute the return came from ends before the parcel has been handed in – because the buyer and the seller settle, because the buyer withdraws the dispute or because Budna decides it without a return – the return is closed automatically, and a return label the buyer paid for is refunded to the buyer.

8. Reserves and risk holds

8.1 A rolling reserve (a percentage of a seller’s sales held for a defined period) or extended payout timing may be applied for new sellers, high-value transactions, or sellers presenting elevated risk. Measures affecting funds held by the Payment Partner are applied by the Payment Partner; Budna may request them under the risk framework agreed between Budna and the Payment Partner. Any reserve and its release schedule will be made available to the affected seller.
8.2 Where a reserve, extended payout timing, or other risk hold is applied to a specific seller, the affected seller is notified of the rate, the period, and the conditions for release. New sellers, transactions of unusually high value, and sellers presenting elevated payment-risk indicators (such as dispute rate, chargeback rate, refund rate, or signals received from the Payment Partner) are the typical triggers. Whether such a measure is applied is determined case by case; where the measure affects funds held by the Payment Partner, the decision rests with the Payment Partner within its regulatory obligations.

9. Chargebacks

9.1 A chargeback is a reversal initiated by a buyer through their bank or card issuer, governed by card-scheme rules and outside Budna’s control. Budna’s Buyer Protection and these Payment Terms do not, and cannot, remove a cardholder’s scheme rights.
9.2 Where a chargeback is filed, Budna may contest it on the seller’s behalf using available evidence (tracking, proof of delivery, condition photos, acceptance logs, message history). The outcome is decided by the bank or scheme.
9.3 Chargeback losses on transactions the seller is responsible for are recoverable as part of the Refund-Liable Amount (section 6).

10. Currencies

10.1 For now, listings on Budna can only be created and published in SEK, and only listings priced in SEK can be bought, bid on, or receive offers. An order created in another currency before this applied can still be paid in that currency. The fees in sections 4.6, 4.7 and 4.10 arise only for orders in SEK and are charged in SEK. Where currency conversion applies at checkout, the applicable rate and any conversion charge are disclosed before payment in accordance with CRD Art. 6. Where a refund is paid in a currency other than the capture currency, the refund amount in the buyer’s settlement currency is calculated at the Payment Partner’s rate on the date of refund, and any exchange-rate differential between capture and refund is borne by the buyer, except where the refund is required as part of a statutory consumer remedy in which case the buyer is refunded no less than the original amount in the buyer’s settlement currency (consistent with section 7.2a).

11. VAT, invoicing, and receipts

11.1 Deemed supplier (Art. 14a). For imported low-value consignments not exceeding EUR 150 and for B2C sales by non-EU traders within the EU, Budna is treated as deemed supplier under VAT Directive 2006/112/EC Art. 14a(1)–(2) and Implementing Regulation 282/2011 Art. 5b–5c, and collects and remits VAT through the Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) and the One-Stop Shop (OSS). Buyers pay VAT-inclusive prices at checkout.
11.2 B2C receipts. For every consumer purchase, Budna issues a kvitto containing the date, the amount, the VAT amount, the seller’s identity, and the order reference. Receipts are available in Order History as PDF and retained in accordance with Bokföringslagen (1999:1078) 5 kap. 7 §.
11.3 Shop VAT obligations. Sellers operating as Shops (business sellers) must (a) self-warrant correct VAT registration in all relevant jurisdictions, (b) disclose their VAT identifiers (momsregistreringsnummer) to Budna and consent to publication on listings and invoices where law requires, and (c) issue VAT-compliant invoices to buyers within four months of the chargeable event, in accordance with Mervärdesskattelagen (2023:200) ch. 17 and VAT Directive Arts. 220 and 226.
11.4 Duties and fees beyond the IOSS threshold. For shipments above the IOSS threshold, import VAT, customs duties, and carrier handling fees imposed at the border are the buyer’s responsibility and are not collected by Budna at checkout. Sellers must disclose at listing whether IOSS treatment applies and must not represent shipping as duty-paid where it is not.

12. Reporting under DAC7 and DPI

12.1 Information right. We provide each reportable seller, by 31 January each year, a copy of the information we report to Skatteverket under Lag (2022:1681) om plattformsoperatörers upplysningsskyldighet implementing Council Directive (EU) 2021/514 (DAC7). The copy is available in Seller Dashboard > Tax. These reporting obligations rest with Budna as platform operator; the Payment Partner does not verify or assume Budna’s tax, marketplace, or reporting obligations through the payment service.
12.2 Payout suspension. If a seller fails after two reminders to provide the data required under DAC7 Annex V Section II(B)(3) and Section IV(F), Budna will close the account for new listings and block further payouts until the data is provided; the block is communicated to the Payment Partner, which handles the held funds in accordance with the rules that apply to it.
12.3 Excluded sellers. Sellers with fewer than 30 relevant activities and total consideration below EUR 2,000 per calendar year are "excluded sellers" under DAC7 Annex V Section I(B)(4)(a) and are not reported.
12.4 Onward exchange. Information reported to Skatteverket is exchanged under DAC7 to the seller’s country of residence tax authority.

13. Consumer rights

13.1 Nothing in these Payment Terms limits a consumer’s mandatory statutory rights under Swedish law (see Buyer rules and Buyer Protection). Where a buyer purchases from a business (B2C) seller, statutory consumer-protection and withdrawal rights apply in addition to Buyer Protection.
13.2 In Sweden, consumers retain their rights under Konsumentköplagen (2022:260) 9 § and 13 § including the presumption rule that defects appearing within two years are presumed to have existed at delivery, and their 14-day right of withdrawal under Distansavtalslagen (2005:59) with the statutory model withdrawal form.

14. Changes and governing law

14.1 Budna may change these Payment Terms with at least 30 days’ notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14.2 These Payment Terms are governed by Swedish law. For consumers, this choice of law does not deprive the consumer of the protection of mandatory consumer law of the country of habitual residence, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I) Art. 6(2). Jurisdiction over consumer disputes is determined by Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 (Brussels I-bis) Arts. 17–19.
14.3 Disputes are handled first through Budna Customer Support and escalation; consumers may also use available external dispute-resolution bodies. In Sweden: Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN). Consumers in the EU can also get help with cross-border complaints from the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net).

15. Subscriptions

15.1 The subscription. Budna offers subscriptions for sellers with the benefits, price, and billing period (monthly or yearly) set out in the price list when the subscription is taken out. Benefits may include, for example, a lower commission, more active listings, and credits for listing placements (boost and priority). For now, subscriptions can only be taken out by private individuals.
15.2 Recurring charges. By taking out the subscription, you authorise the subscription fee to be charged through the Payment Partner to the payment method you approve when subscribing, for example a Swish mandate: first when the subscription is taken out, and then at the start of each new billing period, every month or every year respectively, until you end the subscription. The authorisation covers the subscription only. A bid, a purchase, or any other payment on Budna is not an authorisation for subscription charges.
15.3 Renewal and ending. The subscription renews automatically for a new period of the same length until you end it. You can end the subscription at any time in the app or on the web. Ending takes effect at the end of the period already paid for: the benefits apply until then and no new charge is made. A fee for a period that has begun is not refunded, except under section 15.5.
15.4 Failed payment. If a charge does not go through, the Payment Partner tries again over the following days, and the benefits continue during a grace period of 7 days. If no charge goes through during the grace period, the subscription and its benefits end. Budna tells you when a charge has failed.
15.5 Right of withdrawal. As a consumer, you may withdraw from the subscription within 14 days of taking it out, under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (2005:59). By taking out the subscription, you expressly request that the service begins at once, during the withdrawal period. If you withdraw, the fee is refunded less what you have already received: (a) a proportionate part of the fee for the time elapsed in the period; and (b) for each credit already used on a listing, 75 % of the ordinary price of the corresponding service in the price list in force when the credit was used. Credits that have not been used lapse without compensation. The refund is never less than 25 % of the fee while more than a quarter of the period remains, and thereafter never less than the value of the time remaining. You never owe anything beyond the fee you have already paid. The right of withdrawal applies to the first payment when the subscription is taken out, not to later renewals. The refund is made through the Payment Partner to the payment method used, no later than 14 days after you tell us that you withdraw.
15.6 Changes to price and benefits. Budna gives notice of changes to the subscription’s price or benefits at least 30 days before they take effect. A price change applies from the first billing period that begins after the change takes effect. If you do not accept the change, you can end the subscription before then under section 15.3.
15.7 Repeated withdrawals. Budna may, for 90 days, refuse a new subscription to a user who repeatedly takes out and withdraws from subscriptions in a way that appears intended to avoid the ordinary pricing of placement services.
